Tabitha's Story
June 17, 2003

I met Jason on 6/17 at the end of SAFE.  I waited for a little while outside because I was not sure what to make of the after party at the time.  I was rewarded for my 15 minute wait outside.  Jason exited wearing a button down shirt with blue T underneath and a Dartmouth baseball cap.  I smiled at him and made my way over, waiting patiently for those fans in front of me to get their photos and autographs.  When it was my turn I told Jason how much I loved TW and how much I enjoyed his portrayal of Truss in SAFE.  He smiled and thanked me.  
I told him I had a gift for him and presented him with an official Ocean City Police baseball cap.  He smiled and said "That is so cool!" and prompted to immediately switch caps .  He said he rarely got gifts like that and said he'd like to wear it in an episode this season (I'll be watching.)  My grandfather took a few photos but on the first shot kinda caught Jason and I off guard.  I was pleased with one shot but Jason (with arm around my shoulders) said to get a few more with us ready for the photo.  Hey, more time with Jason's arm around me....I wasn't going to complain.  I shook his hand and wished him luck on the upcoming season.  He thanked us for driving all the way up to see him and the show.

Jason was a great guy.  He truly seemed to appreciate every fan that greeted him, and the fact that he took a few minutes to actually talk to me about my home, where I lived, my military service, and his performance in eppies such as Falling really made my day....well week....well month....well...you get the idea.

I wish all Jason fans would have the chance to meet him as even with the facial hair and blondish hair, Jason is adorable.  His sparkling eyes, and great smile are a great cover for what is a great actor and person inside.

Hopefully I'll get the chance to go see an eppie filmed this year...as for
now that I have seen him once...I'm addicted  LOL.
