Mimsy's Story
June 2003

The show was great! Really really funny. Anthony should be very proud of himself because he did a great job w/the writing and all. In fact the entire cast should be very proud of themselves because they were wonderful. They had everyone laughing the entire time. When the lights first came on the stage for the opening scene, it was kind of strange to see Jason w/the blonde hair. It looked as though they had almost greased it down. He looked like the guy in high school w/the pens in his pocket, all innocent and shy, the one that everyone seems to pick on for one reason or another. And to see him w/the mustache. That was different. But to be honest, it only took maybe 5-10 minutes to get used to. Then it was like, "hey, that looks pretty good!" Jason's character, Truss, was funny. He almost had some of Bosco's qualities in him at times. Throughout a lot of the 1st act, Truss acted a lot like Bosco. "I know what to do here and the rest of you are over reacting to everything. So you should listen to me." lol

His interactions w/Coby's character, Ryan, and Yvonne's (Anthony's wife) character, Sabina were great! He would argue w/them most of the time. In fact, during the second act, Truss and Ryan got into it physically and it got so that we thought Jason was going to end up in our laps when Coby kind of shoved him across the stage into the table that's there. They both (of course at separate times) ended up handcuffed to the pole that's in the bank safe vault. That's where the entire play took place. Their bank was being robbed (Jason and Coby were customers in the bank ... Yvonne was a brand new bank teller, the other gentleman was the guard and the one other lady was the bank manager, Felize. I'm sorry I have forgotten their names for now. And his character's name. Nice, huh?) and the entire play, they were locked in the bank safe vault.

As for my Jason encounter afterwards ....

We were all hanging out in front of the theatre afterwards because that's where the stage door is. They all came out w/in I'd say about 15/20 minutes. Jason was the last that I got to speak to out of the 3 TW guys. When it was my turn to get my picture taken w/him I was really nervous. I mean I had already met him 3 months earlier and I was still nervous. Before getting my picture taken w/him though, I had asked him if I could get a picture of just him and Joanne. He said, "you want a picture of me and her?" He was a bit surprised, but when I told him yes, he called to her and asked her to come over. It was funny because the look that she gave me when he told her, it was like she thought I was high on something. But I told her that I just wanted to take one of them and she leaned into him and his arm was around her and it was a really nice picture.

Then came my turn to have my picture taken with him.  He was really sweet.  I told him that I had met him back in March w/Stella and when I mentioned her and that she was the one that came to visit from Italy, he said that he had remembered.  I thought that he was just saying that, but the others that we were standing there with said that he sounded very sincere when he said that, like he really did remember.  I asked him if I could get a picture with him and he said yes and I told him that the last time I had met him, I was the one taking pictures of everyone w/his co-stars and that I never asked to take one with him.  He asked me why and I told him that I was too chicken.  He told me that I shouldn't be.  That they're just regular guys.  I thought, "Yeah, right!"  Jason Wiles, just a regular guy.  Uh huh.  lol  We congratulated him on a great job in the play and we told him that we liked the blonde hair.  He kind of pulled on it and said that it was all real.  That was pretty funny.  We wished him luck for the rest of the run for the play and also for season 5.  He thanked us and said thanks for watching TW and for the fans continued support.  He really is a great guy.  He and Anthony asked Coby if he was going to be going out w/them for a beer and Coby was so cute w/his answer, "No thanks, man.  I want to get home to my lady."  HIS LADY!!!!!  We all wanted to die when we heard that.  He's sooooo excited about becoming a dad.  And to twins no less!  He says that his wife is HUGE.  I'm sure that Arviss would just love hearing that.  lol  But they were ALL very sweet.  The all made sure that they got every last person before leaving.  Even Coby.  I mean, we all knew that he had to get home to his wife, who is due any moment, and he still made sure that he got to every single person that wanted to speak w/him before taking off.  They all did.  It was definitely a night to remember!!!!!

PICTURES COMING SOON!
