Dear Marilyn: I love Third Watch. What can you tell me about Jason Wiles?

Dear Alyssa: A native of Lenexa, Kansas, Wiles is 31 years old. His wife, Joanne, is a literary and talent agent, and their main problem is that he shoots Third Watch in New York and she works in L.A. They commute as often as possible.

As a kid, Wiles was a self-described troublemaker with contempt for cops; now, of course, he plays one on Third Watch. His attitude toward the police has definitely changed.

Wiles broke into show business as an extra when Paul Newman's Mr. & Mrs. Bridge was shooting in his hometown. Before Watch, he had a season-long stint on Beverly Hills, 90210 as bad-boy artist Colin Robbins.
