Dori's Story

June 19th---I got to the theater at around six-thirty. I immediately start talking with two people who were already at the theater. Midway through, she spots Coby Bell. Coby sees us and chats with us for a few minutes. When he leaves us, I go completely silent. By the way, I had missed Jason by a few minutes.

At around, probably, 7:15, we go into the theater to get our tickets. Kaipo Schwab was really nice and willing to tell us a bunch of stuff about how the show had been doing.

After the show, my friend and I raced out to the backstage door. We waited about ten minutes, and Jason finally came out. I positioned myself so that he'd see me first. Jason said hi, shook my hand and signed my program. I told him how wonderful he was in "Childhood Memories." When I realized that I hadn't gotten a pic with him, I walked up to him. He was talking to another girl, so I waited my turn. When I asked him for a picture, he said, "Sure!" Afterwards, I asked for a hug, and received a nice hug.

After that experience, and being in a weird mood for the next couple of days, I begged my mom to take me again. I went alone this time and had a blast. Jason's performance was more outstanding than the first! Afterwards, I waited for Jason. Coby came out first and recognized me. He also remembered my name, as did Jason! Jason came out and gave me a really big hug! When my mom, much to my dismay, honked the car horn, Jason waved to her.  He hugged me again, then I walked off.

Meeting Jason was the first, in a series of dreams, to come true. He is the nicest, most sweetest man anyone could ever meet. He's also an incredible actor, as is, Coby. When you see him perform in person, Jason puts every single body part into his character. He's amazingly talented! Those two times of meeting him made me realize just how much I miss performing, and encouraged me to return to the stage.
