Dominique's Story
June 18th---So I got to the Jose Quintero Theater around 7:15, and got my tickets from Kaipo,
they were for row A, which ended up being the front row since they didn't use
the seats that were right up front. While we were waiting to get into the
theater I see this really skinny guy with blond hair walk down the stairs and
ask Kaipo something about leaving his phone upstairs. He walks by me and up the
stairs. I turn to my friend and I say, "hey that was Jason". He came back down a
couple minutes later, and I say to him as he walked by "Jason, are you
going to be outside after the show?" He stops and looks at me and says
"Yeah" with a real friendly tone.. He was really nice about it, but I
think he was in a rush to get into the play area.
We finally got
to our seats and I couldn't believe how small and intimate the theater
was. The play started a little late, about ten minutes after 8. When it did
start I saw Jason standing there, facing the back of the set. When he turned
around he looked a lot different than I had imagined, he had slicked back,
almost greasy, looking hair and a shirt and tie, with a jacket. The play
itself was awesome, better than I had expected, since I don't really like plays.
Jason's character was really intense and just like Bosco he had a nice temper. Jason does an amazing job portraying tough characters.
The play ended and
we went down into the waiting area and I saw Anthony, I told him that the play
was awesome and he thanked me for the support and was really friendly. I got a
picture with him and then went outside. Five minutes later Jason came out I
waited a few minutes until he signed some other peoples things and then I walked
over to him and handed him my Third Watch cast photo and he thanked me for
coming and I took a picture with him, and man, did he SMELL GOOD. Anyway, he
then personalized my photo of him. I then got a picture with Coby. Jason was
talking to us about how far we traveled. My friend and I started walking away,
and then Jason says out loud to Coby "Hey those people drove all the way
here from NH" to get our attention back He smiled at me and told me to have
a fast and safe drive home. I smiled back and said I would definitely drive like
80 since he told me to drive fast. Then we went to the parking garage. As we
drove down the street I saw Anthony and Jason just walking down the street like regular
New Yorkers would. I cant wait to go back on July 9th!!!

July 9th---I got to the theater around 7, I noticed that the crowd was a
lot of older people, like over 60. My seats were in the first row, row AA.
The play was even better the second time around. Jason almost fell
off the stage in front of us in his fight scene with Coby. We waited
outside the theater and there were only about 5 other people waiting, I guess
older people aren't into the whole celebrity thing. Coby came out first and I
got a picture with him and then he left right after that. Then Anthony
came out, and I got a picture with him, when he signed the group photo I had
from when I first met them, he was like "what is Jason wearing on his head,
it looks like a halo" and he laughed.
Then Jason came out, and he talked to the five people for a few minutes and then
it was just me and my boyfriend, he signed my picture and I told him about his
halo in the picture and he laughed. He was telling us that the crowd was
very different tonight and they didn't laugh as much, and I was like "yeah
they are all over-" Jason cut in "70". He said he didn't'
think the older crowd liked profanity. We talked for a couple of minutes
and then I asked if I could get a picture with him in front of one of the cop
cars and we walked a few feet towards one. He put him arm around me and the
picture was taken. I then remembered how he hadn't really smiled for any
of the other ones. So, with his arm still around me, I looked at him and
said "did you smile for that?" lol. He said he wasn't sure, I'm
like "you didn't smile for any of the other pictures", so he said,
"you have to make me laugh" I'm like "I don't know what to
say" But we took another picture and he was smiling. It was great to
stand there for like 2 minutes talking to him with his arm still around me. I'm
sure my boyfriend loved that, lol.
