Desiree's Story
Desiree met Jason twice in June of 2002.

He was dressed very casual and had a back pack slung over his shoulder. He is very "down to earth" and dresses the part.

When we were posing for the picture he had his arm around me, turned to look at me, and just starting talking and asking questions. It was like we were old friends getting reacquainted. He is soooo nice.

Jason is the nicest most personable person you can imagine. I meet him not once but twice. OK, here is the rundown.

We got there on Friday and checked into the B&B we were staying at. Walked around the town to check it out and had dinner later (the Mashside ). Later that evening my nephew feel asleep and I was bored so decided to take a walk down to the playhouse for the heck of it. Only had to wait around for a short period of time until it let out.

Jason came out not too much later. I waited my turn to meet him. He saw me standing over to the side and walked over to ME!!! Can you believe it??!?! Held out his hand and said "Hi, Jason". So of course I introduced myself and we talked for a brief period of time. He asked how I liked the play and I said I had a ticket for tomorrow night. I asked him if I could take some pictures and he said "you're coming back tomorrow right? (YES) Would you mind if we did it tomorrow, my family is here" (his wife and mother-in-law). I said sure no problem and started to walk away. He called after me and said "thanks, see ya tomorrow".

Part 2
The play was soooo funny. I was a little nervous bring my nephew since he just turned 13, but he had a blast. We were cracking up. Jason was incredible. The funny scenes were funny and the dramatic scenes almost made me cry. I felt so bad for Mark (his character) at the end. Oh, I almost forgot, during intermission I was speaking with some people. There was a young boy there who had met Jason the night before. He was sooo funny. "Oh, no. That's Bosco" and carrying on. It was really cute. Anyhow, I saw him and asked if he had recuperated. IT took him a second then he realized I had seen him last night. Some people were standing around and asked if I had seen the play last night. I explained and told them I had driven from NYC just to see Jason and they were shocked. Then a nice woman asked how I liked the play and I told her. Turns out that she was Mr. McCourt's daughter and the boys I was teasing were his grandsons and grandson's friends. Anyway I digress. The show ended and my nephew and I went around back again.

We waited and Jason came out. Some people went over to him and he did his thing. He saw me standing there came over to me, held out his hand and KISSED ME on the cheek. I didn't even realize it happened until it happened. He said "thanks so much for coming back Desiree". He even remembered my name. I introduced my nephew and we talked for about 20 minutes or so.

Mr. McCourt's daughter came over to take some pictures of him with her sons. He was kneeling down signing some autographs and I could tell she wanted him to look up - so what did I do? I, being a loud New Yorker said "Jason, look up". He then saw what was going on got up and posed for pictures with the boys. I still can't believe I did that.

Anyway. We were all standing around talking like friends. He asked were in New York we were from and I told him. He said where abouts is that and I told him. In the interim, he got a kick out of my accent and a little fun with it. I asked him about official fan clubs and he said when he got back to LA he was going to talk to his manager about it. I mentioned that they really need to do something because it was not published at all in NY. If nypdbosco hadn't posted it on 3rdwatch.net (yes I plugged both sites) then I would never had known.

I asked him what other plans he had before production started on 3rd watch again and he said he was going back to LA to do a small movie called "Out of Control". They hope to bring it to Sundance. We talked a little more and he kissed me not once, not twice, but three times. Truthfully, I only remember the 2x but my nephew says it was 3. He said if I ever know where they are filming to come down.

Oh, did I mentioned that I took my picture with him. I was so excited that I forgot to take a picture of just him.

Have you all seen his wife. She is gorgeous and he is so madly in love it is wonderful.

I met his wife and mother-in-law one night and mother and brother the second night.
